Veera Hanuman Kumbahbishegam

We had a visit to Veera Hanuman Temple, Brickfields today for the 1st Kaala Yaaga Pooja. Here are some clicks of the event.

The temple management have taken all safety and needed precautions to ensure the devotees able to do their darisanam on the kumbahbishegam day. Due to the constraint of space and unexpected devotees presence for the Maha Kumbahbishegam on the 27th Jan morning, devotees are requested to be patience while the management will work on all means to ensure devotees gets their darisanam from Veera Hanuman on his historical day.

Devotees please take note, it’s a remainder when you attend a kumbahbishegam:-
1 Keep all you belonging save, safety first
2 Use your facemask to prevent from any infections
3 Bring your umbrella, if in case of rain
4 Keep water battle at all times
5 Consider elderly people and children in the temple
6 Keep our temple clean at all time

Original ‘Moolasthanam’ of Kallumalai in Ipoh

I’m not very sure about this but I remember seeing a Thaipusam programme produced by Astro showing the history of Kallumalai temple and in it, they showed that this small Cave temple, which houses a shrine for the Lord, is the original ‘Moolasthanam’ of Kallumalai.
This temple is just nearby and at a walking distance from Kallumalai temple. I have attached the YouTube link of the programme which was aired on Astro…
