SIVA SRI S.DHANABALAN GURUKAL

Siva Sri Dhanabalan Gurukal started his journey as a gurukal at the age of 9 years. His first stepped into Sri Maha Mariamman Kuil, Sikamat Seremban as his passion to serve the god made him Malaysia learned priest today. Born in Sikamat, Seremban this young boy persuaded his higher learning in priesthood after completing his SPM in 1999.

He went to Tamilnadu, India to an exclusive Padasalai names Sri Kadpaga Vinayagar Vedagama Padasalai Pillayar Patti in the year 2000. He completed his basic priesthood certification and back to Malaysia in the year 2002. He continued his service as a chief priest in the same temple where his passion started. He has held the position as the chief priest of this temple for the past 20 years.

In this past 20 year he have conducted about 600 over Kumbabishegams, organized and conducting Hindu spiritual events and presented many spiritual talks in Malaysia. He was guided and though by Malaysia 2 most exclusive gurukals, Siva Sri Muthukumara Gurukal, Bukit Rotan and Siva Sri Ramachandra Gurukal, Melaka.

Gurukal marries in the year 2009, his wife Mrs. Vaani is a local Malaysian girl from Banting. The have 3 children, 1 boy and 2 girls, all of them are studding in their local Tamil School. He has conducted about 300 over wedding after his marriage.

Gurukal also is a master in Manikavinayagar Padasalai, Melaka. He also conducts classes in Seremban for local student who is interested to become gurukals in his temple. He ensures his knowledge is share to all students and devotees in his surroundings. Gurukal is a person who gives full effort to unfortunate students who want to study. He manages all their basic facilities for this student to perform in their education and upgrade their lifestyle in future. It’s an honour to have such a great gurukal in Malaysia well educated and with social concern for the betterment of the future community.
